BEARWOOD LAKES GOLF CLUB TO HOST QUALIFYING ROUND OF DUKE OF EDINBURGH CUP

International Members Invited to Participate in this Distinguished Championship

Scottsdale, Ariz. - Troon Golf, the leader in upscale golf course management, development and marketing is pleased to announce that Bearwood Lakes Golf Club in Berkshire, England, a Troon Privé , Private Club of Distinction, will play host to the 2005 Duke of Edinburgh Cup qualifying round which will be played on June 21, 2005. The competition is either at stroke play or stableford held under USGA or R&A rules, and qualifiers must have a genuine handicap. Winners and runners-up in each event will receive an invitation to the World Finals.

Entry into this prestigious International championship is open to those International members of Bearwood Lakes, an opportunity that is exclusively offered by Troon Golf. In addition to tournament entry, the two qualifiers from the Bearwood Lakes event and their spouses will be guests at a black tie dinner at Windsor Castle in the presence of members of the Royal Family, receive free travel to London and accommodation and meals for the four-day stay, and have the opportunity to play golf at the Royal Household Golf Course at Windsor Castle.

The Duke of Edinburgh Cup is a series of international amateur golf events and social occasions with a Royal World Final in the U.K. The event was created to raise substantial funds to help disadvantaged youth and has raised in excess of $1 million over the past four years.
