GOLF DIGEST ANNOUNCES AMERICA’S TOP 50 COURSES FOR WOMEN

Scottsdale, Ariz. – Troon Golf,® the leader in upscale golf course management, development and marketing is pleased to recognize three of its managed facilities named to Golf Digest’s list of “America’s Top 50 Courses for Women.” Chosen for their female-friendly design, amenities, courteous staff, programs, and an appealing atmosphere for women, the list was compiled from nominations and evaluations given by a panel of 100 female raters.

The following facilities were named to Golf Digest’s list of “America’s Top 50 Courses for Women:”

No. 34 The Golf Club at Del Webb – Ave Maria, Fla.
No. 37 Monarch Beach Golf Links – Dana Point, Calif.
No. 48 Indian Wells Golf Resort – Indian Wells, Calif.

Criteria to be eligible for the Golf Digest ranking includes at least one set of tees less than 5,300 yards, at least two sets of tees with USGA Slope and Course Ratings for women, minimal forced carries from the forward tees, and run-up areas to most or all greens.
