GOLF DIGEST NAMES SIX TROON GOLF-MANAGED COURSES TO LIST OF AMERICA’S GREATEST GOLF COURSES

Scottsdale, Ariz. – Troon Golf,® the leader in upscale golf course management, development and marketing is pleased to announce that six of its managed courses were recognized on Golf Digest’s “ America’s 100 Greatest Golf Courses” list in the May 2011 issue. The biennial list ranked Kapalua (Plantation) in Hawaii and Forest Dunes Golf Club in Michigan on the list for the first time ever, and four other facilities as “ America’s 100 Greatest Public Golf Courses.” Notable improvements on the public course list were made by Giants Ridge Golf & Ski Resort (Quarry) in Minnesota, which climbed to No. 16 and Kapalua (Plantation), which climbed several spots to No. 17. Newcomers to the list were Pronghorn (Nicklaus) in Oregon, Camp Creek Golf Club in Florida and Bayside Resort Golf Club in Delaware. Twenty four facilities were also named to Golf Digest’s “Best in State” list that included both private and daily-fee courses.
