Fourteen Golf Clubs earn 4-1/2 Star Ratings for America's Best Public Access Golf

Scottsdale, AZ - Readers of Golf Digest have awarded fourteen Troon Golf® managed facilities 4-1/2 star ratings for America's best public-access golf courses in the magazine's Best Places to Play issue (May 2004). According to Golf Digest, "real golfers sounding off on their favorite courses are the backbone of [the publication's] biennial Best Places to Play ratings", considered the most comprehensive survey in the industry. The legion of Golf Digest readers have spoken for the sixth time since 1994, voting on what they feel are the best public access courses in the country for a wide variety of reasons.

Places to Play ratings are derived from 20,000 ballots in which readers evaluate the overall golf experience, value for the money, standard of service, condition of the golf course and pace of play. Additionally, readers are encouraged to provide their candid commentary.
