Seven Troon Golf-Managed Properties Named to List

Scottsdale, Ariz. - Golf Magazine's raters have spoken and Troon Golf,® the leader in upscale golf course management, development and marketing congratulates its owned and managed courses that have been named to Golf Magazine's "Top 100 You Can Play," for 2006-2007, which is featured in the publication's September issue. This biennial ranking, which includes public-access courses from across the nation, includes the following Troon Golf facilities.

No. 21 - Troon North Golf Club, Monument - Scottsdale, Arizona
No. 59 - Troon North Golf Club, Pinnacle - Scottsdale, Arizona
No. 74 - Branson Creek Golf Club - Branson, Missouri
No. 88 - The Westin Innisbrook Golf Resort, Copperhead - Tampa Bay, Florida

No. 56 - Giants Ridge Golf & Ski Resort, The Quarry - Biwabik, Minnesota
According to Golf Magazine..."From the remains of a quarry, architect Jeff Brauer forged a Bunyan-esque challenge, incorporating rock piles and sand pits."

No. 84 - Old Works - Anaconda, Montana
According to Golf Magazine..."Black-slag bunkers highlight this massively long but incredibly inexpensive Jack Nicklaus design, which was built on a Superfund site that once housed a copper smelting plant."

No. 97 - Lake of Isles, North course - North Stonington, Connecticut
According to Golf Magazine..."Foxwoods is one of the top casinos anywhere, but it wasn't until Rees Jones worked his magic on a watery, rocky site that it had a golf course to match."
