GOLF MAGAZINE RECOGNIZES SEVEN TROON GOLF PROPERTIES IN AMERICA’S BEST GOLF RESORTS

Scottsdale, Ariz. – Featured in the March issue, GOLF Magazine recognizes seven prestigious properties in the Troon Golf® portfolio as “America’s Best Golf Resorts.” Bestowing its coveted Gold and Silver Medals, the results were based on its extensive biennial reader survey of over 20,000 subscribers and frequent travelers.

Troon Golf, the world’s leading luxury golf management, development, and marketing company, is pleased to honor seven recipients all of which have been selected based on the quality of the golf experience and course conditions, as well as the resorts’ amenities and dining experiences.

In the survey of the country’s very finest golf clubs and resorts, two of the magazine’s 75 elusive Gold Medal rankings go to The Four Seasons Resort Scottsdale at Troon North in Arizona and The Westin La Cantera Resort in San Antonio, Texas.

Considering the survey’s requisite improvements and refinements, La Cantera’s debut as a Gold Medal winner from its 2002-2003 Silver Medal ranking is especially noteworthy.

GOLF Magazine accorded the following Troon Golf managed facilities as Silver Medal winners:
The Phoenician, Scottsdale, Ariz.
The Lodge at Ventana Canyon, Tucson, Ariz.
The Westin La Paloma Resort, Tucson, Ariz.
The Westin Innisbrook Golf Resort, Tampa Bay, Fla.
The Westin Mission Hills Resort, Rancho Mirage, Calif.
