NEW GOLF DEVELOPMENT PLANNED FOR INDIANAPOLIS

Jack Nicklaus to Design Signature Championship Layout

Scottsdale, Arizona — Troon Golf, the world golf leader in golf management, marketing and development has announced plans for a new residential golf development to be built on the northeast side of Indianapolis in Hamilton County, Indiana. The project will be called The Sagamore Club and will feature a championship signature golf course designed by Jack Nicklaus.

The golf club and residential development will be built on land purchased from the Children's Museum of Indianapolis and the Indianapolis Art Museum. The development team is currently undergoing the planning and entitlement process in the city of Noblesville. It is anticipated that the pre-development and initial marketing stages will be completed this spring, with groundbreaking targeted for late summer 2001. Membership applications are currently being processed. The first phase of home sites are expected to be released in mid-2001.

The Sagamore Club is being developed by a venture comprised of University Golf Development, Indianapolis, Indiana; Troon Golf, Scottsdale, Arizona; and Landscapes Unlimited, Lincoln, Nebraska. The golf club will include an 18-hole Jack Nicklaus Signature layout, a practice area, and full-service clubhouse facilities.
