Greg Norman Championship Golf Course to be First of its Kind on the Island

SCOTTSDALE, AZ - Troon Golf,® the leader in upscale golf course management, development and marketing has joined forces with Flag LuxuryTM Properties and St. Regis® Hotels & Resorts to redefine world-class golf in the Caribbean. Temenos Anguilla - a St. Regis Retreat, featuring a Greg Norman championship golf course, will open in late-2006/early-2007 with a world-class hotel, spa, and a limited number of extraordinary estates. Temenos Golf Club, the first championship course on the island, is scheduled to open in 2005.

The Temenos Golf Club will offer players the ultimate golf experience in the Caribbean -- a competitive course offering breathtaking views. In Norman's design-plan, golfers are greeted by a spectacular vista of St. Maarten and the Caribbean Sea at the tee box of the 390-yard starting hole. The fairway descends over 40-feet to a narrow, two-tiered green sitting precariously on the edge of a saltwater lagoon. Large sand dunes on the left and a saltwater pond on the right frame the perilous drive on the 440-yard 16th hole that plays dead into the trade winds. The elevated green is surrounded by water and protected by deep bunkers. The narrowing fairway on the 18th hole ascends forty feet through rugged terrain to a narrow green carved out of the native shrub. The drive carries the edge of the mangrove thicket in a vast stretch of salt marsh that winds through eight of the course holes.

"Aligning Troon Golf with this prestigious property is a winning scenario for everyone," stated Troon Golf President and Chief Operating Officer, Hud Hinton. "We look forward to bringing the Troon Golf ExperienceSM and all it has to offer to elite travelers craving not only challenging, world-class golf but those also looking for an ultra-luxurious vacation experience."

Anguilla, the northernmost Leeward Island, lies between the Caribbean Sea and the Atlantic Ocean. The island, renown for its quiet sophistication and natural beauty, is small in scope - 16 miles long and three miles across at its widest point. A British Colony settled in 1650, it's peacefulness, pristine settings and pampering set the tone for Anguilla's increasing allure among travelers searching for the perfect Caribbean getaway.

We're delighted to be partnering with Troon on this exciting new venture," said Flag Luxury Chairman and CEO Paul Kanavos. "The opening of Temenos Golf Club promises to raise the bar on the golf experience in the Caribbean and elsewhere. The combination of Greg Norman, Troon Golf and Flag Luxury is unparalleled and promises a unique golf experience upon the course's opening next year."

Temenos Golf Club is part of the much-anticipated Temenos Anguilla - A St. Regis Retreat, which provides the opportunity to own one of three types of residences, ranging in price from $3 million to $7 million, a 97-room St. Regis Retreat, a world-class spa, a marina and a host of St. Regis signature services and amenities. When Temenos Golf Club opens in 2005, guests will have the opportunity to stay at one of three existing, exclusive villas, named Sea, Sand and Sky, which have recently come under management by St. Regis Hotels and Resorts.
