TROON GOLF ANNOUNCES FINANCE DEPARTMENT PROMOTIONS
The Board of Directors of Troon Golf recently announced the promotion of its finance department’s two most senior staff members. Elevated to the position of Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, Jon A. Munson now serves on the company’s Senior Executive Team. In addition, Lyn Bickle was promoted to the position of Vice President, Controller, and will now serve on the company’s Executive Team. These promotions are representative of the meteoric growth Troon Golf has experienced since the golf management company’s inception in 1990.
Munson is recognized for his valuable service since joining Troon Golf in 1992 following his employment with the accounting firm of Ernst and Young. Munson holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration from the University of Washington, and earned CPA certification in both Arizona and Washington. As a member of Troon Golf’s Senior Executive Team, Munson’s responsibilities include overseeing all of the company’s financial-related activities and investments.
On board for only a year as Troon Golf’s former Corporate Controller, Lyn Bickle’s experience and expertise contribute significantly to the financial workings of the company. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting from the University of Georgia and worked with Deloitte & Touche as a Senior Manager in Detroit and Phoenix before joining Troon Golf in July of 1998. Bickle’s responsibilities include preparation of financial statements for all facilities, supervision of property accounts, and providing financial information to the Senior Executive Team.
