TROON GOLF ANNOUNCES NEW HIRES In KEY POSITIONS

Scottsdale, Arizona – Troon Golf, the world leader in upscale golf course management, development and marketing, is pleased to announce the recent promotion/hiring of three new key personnel.

Scottsdale, Arizona – Troon Golf, the world leader in upscale golf course management, development and marketing, is pleased to announce the recent promotion/hiring of three new key personnel.

Mr. Cary T. Westmark has been promoted to Vice President, Information Technology. Westmark, who has been with Troon Golf since December 1999, is responsible for the development, linking and upgrading of technological strategies and implementation for all Troon Golf properties.

A long-time Arizona resident, Westmark received his undergraduate degree from Western International University, as well as a degree in Applied Science of Electronics from the DeVry Institute of Technology. Westmark brings 13 years’ experience in the technology industry to his promotion with Troon Golf. In addition, previous employment includes stints with Tosco Marketing Company and McDonnell Douglas Helicopter Division as Technology Manager.

Mr. Jim Goodman has joined the company as Regional Director of Sales & Marketing. With over 12 years of golf and resort marketing experience, Goodman makes the move from Mammoth Mountain Resort in Mammoth Lakes, California where he held a similar position. Goodman’s responsibilities will entail the positioning and promotion of the Troon Golf brand to enhance the image and operations at each Troon Golf property.

Originally from the Chicago area, Goodman received his undergraduate degree from the University of Arizona, and later, a masters degree in business from Arizona State University. Goodman’s previous experience includes positions at Chicago Golf Club, the Fairmont Scottsdale Princess and The Boulders Resort.

Ms. Megan Stoeller, who began her tenure at Troon Golf in July 1999, has been promoted to Director of Accounting. Stoeller will be responsible for all corporate accounting, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger and payroll. In addition, she will also oversee the preparation of company financial statements, including those for entities where Troon has ownership positions.

Stoeller is a graduate of the University of Arizona in Tucson and earned her bachelor’s degree in accounting and finance. Before coming to Troon Golf, she was an auditor at Ernst & Young for four years.
