TROON GOLF APPOINTS VICE PRESIDENT HUMAN RESOURCES

Scottsdale, Ariz. – Troon Golf,® the leader in upscale golf course management, development and marketing is pleased to announce that Sandra M. Simonson has been appointed vice president, human resources. An executive with 15 years experience, she most recently served as director, human resources with Honeywell Aerospace in Phoenix and has practiced in a wide variety of industries including financial services, semiconductor and aerospace manufacturing, education and emergency services.

Simonson obtained her business management degree, with an emphasis in human resource management, from Arizona State University and later returned there to complete her MBA. She is passionate about the field because she believes that employees are the greatest competitive edge a company can have. According to Simonson, “In a service related industry, such as golf, having passionate, engaged employees is of particular importance. Very often, the customer experience is a direct reflection of how a company’s employees feel about their jobs and the company, overall.
