TROON GOLF CONTINUES WORLDWIDE EXPANSION IN CANADA

Posted on December 04, 2006
Scottsdale, Ariz. - Troon Golf,® the leader in upscale golf course management, development and marketing is pleased to announce that it has been chosen to manage golf operations at WYNDANSEA, an oceanfront resort on the west coast of Vancouver Island, BC Canada, which will feature a Jack Nicklaus Signature Golf Course as its centerpiece. Covering 370 acres next to the Pacific Rim National Park in the town of Ucluelet, the resort will offers golfers an incredibly beautiful, scenic, oceanfront golf experience.

The first phase of the development will include the golf course and the exclusive "Signature Circle," an enclave of 30 oceanfront and semi-oceanfront estate lots that range from ½ to ¾ of an acre. The developer, Marine Drive Properties Ltd. will incorporate a "green approach" to its development, with more than 50% of its lands dedicated to parks and trails, thus making this a low-density resort with a limited inventory of home sites.

"Marine Drive Properties is proud to have the best of the golf world involved in the project, especially Troon Golf for its management expertise. WYNDANSEA is registered in Audubon International's Silver Signature Program... it represents our core values and emphasizes our commitment to stewardship," stated Elke Loof-Koehler, CEO Marine Drive Properties Ltd.

"We are thrilled to be working with Marine Drive Properties on what is sure to be one of the foremost golf communities on Vancouver Island and in the whole of British Columbia," stated Hud Hinton, president and COO, Troon Golf. "THE TROON GOLF EXPERIENCESM will offer members and guests unparalleled service, championship playing conditions, and a day of golf they won't soon forget."

The design currently calls for holes to border the Pacific Ocean on the west side of the property and the Ucluelet Inlet on the east. With topography ranging from steep cliffs on one side, a bay on the other and rugged terrain in the middle, the land lends itself perfectly to a great variety of holes that will offer a challenge to golfers of all levels.

"We're creating the premier oceanfront golf resort on Canada's West Coast; one that we believe will be a landmark destination for generations to come," stated Loof-Koehler.
