To Oversee the TROON GOLF EXPERIENCEsm at Revere and Elkhorn Golf Clubs

Scottsdale, Ariz. - Filling existing positions and expanding into new territory to provide consummate club experiences, Troon Golf®, the world's leading golf management, development, and marketing company is pleased to announce the hiring of two new general managers at its facilities in Nevada and Idaho.

Following Jim Stegall's recent move to corporate headquarters as Vice President, Operations, Greg Kinney steps in as the new General Manager for The Revere Golf Club in Las Vegas, Nevada. A professional in the golf industry for over 15 years, Kinney has served as General Manager at Pumpkin Ridge Golf Club in Oregon, as well as Canyon Oaks Country Club in northern California, and assisted in opening ArrowCreek Golf Club in Reno, Nevada.

At Revere, Kinney will oversee the operations of the Troon Golf Experience in the spirited theme of the American Revolution that features the Casper/Nash-designed Lexington and Concord golf courses.

Don Shirey Jr. joined Troon Golf this past March and is now moving to Elkhorn Golf Club as General Manager of this new Troon Golf facility in Sun Valley, Idaho. Shirey will be on hand to oversee the major restoration that will once again present the golf course in its original luster. Situated at the base of Sun Valley's, Dollar Mountain, the Elkhorn layout marks the final father-son collaboration of Robert Trent Jones, Sr. and Robert Trent Jones, Jr.

Shirey's comprehensive golf background includes six years as a competitor on the PGA Tour and competing in two United States Open Championships. He was also General Manager and Owner at Horseleg Plantation Country Club in Rome, Georgia where he took the property from bankruptcy to a $3.5 million operation by effectively managing business plans, operating budgets and internal cost controls.
