TROON GOLF HONORS ASSOCIATES FOR OUTSTANDING PERFORMANCE

Winners were announced at the 2007 Troon Golf Management Conference, which recently took place at The Four Seasons Resort Scottsdale at Troon North in Scottsdale, Arizona. 2006 TROON GOLF “FACILITY OF THE YEAR”

The Montgomerie Dubai, United Arab Emirates

Over the past year, this facility opened a new clubhouse and exceeded its goals in multiple categories. The Montgomerie Dubai doubled revenues, increased rounds by over 2,000 and improved their revenue in every category. The associates at The Montgomerie Dubai have gone above and beyond in showcasing the Troon Golf brand and utilizing the corporate staff.

2006 TROON GOLF “GENERAL MANAGER OF THE YEAR”

Jack Hrad, St. James Plantation, North Carolina

Jack is known by many as a teacher, mentor and promoter of his people. His dedication and hard work led his team to revenue improvements and through a challenging time period of a major membership overhaul. Jack’s tremendous success has not gone unnoticed this year and was nominated by the owner of the St. James Plantation.

2006 TROON GOLF “SUPERINTENDENT OF THE YEAR”

Nancy Dickens, The Kierland Golf Club, Arizona

Since the day Nancy began at The Kierland Golf Club, she was known as a passionate team player with a strong work ethic and tremendous dedication to her job. She earned her course the highest rating ever on resort course conditions and earned rave revues from course owners and the Westin Keirland Resort’s general manager, Bruce Lange. Nancy has always taken her job personal and is committed to being the best she can be.

2006 TROON GOLF “MOST IMPROVED FACILITY OF THE YEAR”

The Phoenician, Arizona

This facility improved itself in every category in 2006. From historical-high guest satisfaction to course conditions that were at all time highs, The Phoenician’s golf operation staff received extremely positive reviews from the resort executive team. Ratings on employee satisfaction also increased as well as work environment and management supervision.

Sergio Flores, Entrada at Snow Canyon Country Club, Utah

Sergio is known for always putting forth an effort that goes above and beyond his daily duties and has become “The Face” of Troon Golf at Entrada. Sergio is a terrific leader and is always looking for ways to make those around him better. His positive attitude and commitment to perfect service has earned him the admiration of those who work along side him.

2006 TROON GOLF “FACILITY NEWCOMER OF THE YEAR”

The Peninsula Golf & Country Club, Delaware

The Peninsula Golf & Country Club is a brand new facility that has set the bar for the quality of their staff, Troon Golf brand recognition and an extremely successful membership program. The facility was also named “Development of the Year” by Crittenden Golf Inc. magazine for its scenic vistas, rewarding golf experience and developer profit.

2006 TROON GOLF “W.I.T.S” (WALK IN THEIR SHOES) AWARD

Sam Logan, Cap Cana, Dominican Republic

Sam overcame many obstacles to achieve the “W.I.T.S” Award. This award is given to those who exceed at promoting the Troon brand and operating philosophy in parts of the world that are unfamiliar with our benefits. Sam works hard at his job and has never been afraid to take on challenging assignments.

2006 TROON GOLF “TURNAROUND FACILITY OF THE YEAR”

Bamm Hollow Country Club, New Jersey

Bamm Hollow truly had an incredible year marked by impressive financial turnarounds at the facility. Bamm Hollow increased every revenue line including golf revenue per round as well as number of rounds last year.

DJ Flanders, Phoenix Country Club, Japan

DJ is the perfect fit for an award that is given only to those who are truly passionate about what they do and who live the Troon Golf culture. He is known for being creative, courageous and willing to take on difficult assignments.

The Grove, England

This facility overachieved and exceeded expectations in 2006. The Grove improved revenue and put themselves and Troon Golf on the world stage by hosting the World Golf Championships, American Express Championship 2006. The facility received praising remarks from many of the world’s top ranked golfers during the tournament.
