Scottsdale, Arizona - Troon Golf, the world's leading luxury golf management, development, and marketing company, is pleased to announce the recent appointment of Mr. Jim Stegall as General Manager of The Revere Golf Club, as well as Area Managing Director for Troon Golf properties in the western region.

A well-known and respected veteran golf management professional, Stegall makes the move from his previous position as Executive Vice President, Western Operations for American Golf Corporation (AGC). No stranger to the Clark County golf scene, his tenure with AGC included eight years overseeing golf course operations in the Las Vegas market. "We are fortunate to employ Jim's extensive managerial talents and familiarity with the Las Vegas market," stated Troon Golf Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Dana Garmany. "His contribution ensures the level of excellence we envision for The Revere at Anthem."

The Revere at Anthem rises from canyons of the Black Hills in Henderson, a few minutes south of downtown Las Vegas. The exquisite daily-fee facility features two courses by Phoenix-based golf course architect Greg Nash and PGA Tour legend Billy Casper - The Lexington; and the Concord, scheduled to open in early summer 2002.

"As an executive in the golf management industry, my view of Troon Golf's remarkable growth the last several years was always from a competitor's vantage point. I couldn't help be impressed with the company's focus on premier level properties, and their ability to steadily progress through dramatic changes in the industry," Stegall remarked. "I am honored to come to work for Troon Golf and work with this tremendous team."

Headquartered in Scottsdale, Arizona, Troon Golf manages operations at more than 115 golf courses located in 23 states and 10 countries.
