TROON GOLF NAMES RYAN WALLS AND KURT MICHELSEN TO SENIOR VP POSITIONS

Scottsdale, Ariz. – Troon Golf,® the leader in upscale golf course management, development and marketing is pleased to announce Ryan Walls’ return to its corporate headquarters in Scottsdale, Ariz. as Senior Vice President, Operations. Walls’ previous position was Senior Vice President, Australia-Pacific and was based internationally in the Brisbane office. In his new position, Walls will be responsible for the company’s key equity assets, operational compliance and retail, as well as overseeing a portfolio of properties.

Walls is a PGA member with nearly 20 years of experience in the golf industry and began working for Troon Golf in 1996. Before moving to Australia in 2004, Walls held the position of Vice President, Operations, overseeing numerous Troon Golf facilities from the corporate headquarters.

Additionally, Kurt Michelsen has been promoted to Senior Vice President and Managing Director, Troon Golf Australia Pacific. Kurt will be based in the Brisbane office and will supervise all of Troon Golf’s Australia-Pacific Operations including Asia.

Michelsen has over 18 years of experience in the golf industry with more than 15 years in Asia. During this time, he has held four general manager positions at key properties in Asia, including Mission Hills Resort and Hutchison Whampoa Property Group, Dongguan in China, and Phoenix Seagaia Resort in Japan. He was also an advisor to Goldman Sachs Real Estate Asset Management in Tokyo, which was comprised of 96 golf courses.
