TROON GOLF TO HOST 10TH ANNUAL MANAGEMENT CONFERENCE

Scottsdale, Ariz. – When Troon Golf,® held its first annual meeting a decade ago, it hosted just 25 golf professionals from courses located in three different countries. This week, with more than 190 courses in its current portfolio, the company will hold its 10th Annual Troon Golf Management Conference, with 350 attendees from nearly 30 countries.

Beginning January 15-18 at The Westin La Paloma Resort & Spa in Tucson, Ariz., the conference will allow Troon Golf corporate executives, managers, agronomists and associates from around the world to share vital company information and best practices. Attendees will hear from industry leading experts in course management, agronomy, professional development, human resources, and maintaining the exceptional customer experience that is synonymous with the Troon Golf name.

“In today’s environment, it’s imperative that we constantly get better at what we do,” said Hud Hinton, president and COO of Troon Golf. “That’s why we gather our key management associates annually to help educate and equip them for the challenges they face.”

Awards will also be presented to recognize top-performing facilities, as well as individual associates who excelled in their field in 2007. Educational breakout sessions will be held to address topics related to daily-fee courses and private clubs, as well as international and Caribbean facilities. Rob Rush, CEO of LRA Worldwide, Inc., will deliver a keynote address on how best to “Take Great Customer Experiences to the Bank.”
