Praslin surrounds 4.5 km of coastline, small bays and distinctive peninsulas. From the shoreline, the land rises to a height of 610 feet, offering ocean views on what will most likely be two of the most photographed holes in golf. Additionally, the Bay is protected by a system of interlocking reefs, which completely protect the bay from the Atlantic swell. Historically, Praslin Bay was one of the main ports in St. Lucia, playing a key role in the development of the island.

Kierron Dolby, managing director of DCG Properties Limited is very pleased to announce his partnership with Troon Golf. "With Troon Golf as a strategic partner, it is a tremendous advantage and clear demonstration of the level of quality that DCG Properties has committed to for the Praslin Heights project."

One of the Windward Islands of the Lesser Antilles, St. Lucia is located midway down the Eastern Caribbean chain, between Martinique and St. Vincent, and north of Barbados. St. Lucia is only 27 miles long and 14 miles wide, with a shape that is said to resemble either a mango or an avocado. The Atlantic Ocean kisses its eastern shore, while the beaches of the west coast owe their beauty to the calm Caribbean Sea. Its dramatic twin coastal peaks, the Pitons, soar 2,000 feet up from the sea, sheltering magnificent rain forests where wild orchids, giant ferns, and birds of paradise flourish. Brilliantly plumed tropical birds abound, including endangered species like the indigenous St. Lucia parrot. Verdant fields and orchards of banana, coconut, mango, and papaya trees are all that break-up the lush tropical rainforest found on the island.
