Designed by acclaimed golf course architect Randy Heckenkemper, Sanctuary Golf Course is located on the western slope of the McDowell Mountains. The eco-friendly property is the only golf course in Arizona and the 17th in the world to obtain the coveted Audubon Signature Status – a certification program ensuring that golf courses protect the environment by applying sustainable resource management practices in the development and long-term stewardship of the property. The 18-hole course was transformed from a storm water retention area into an impressive par 71 golf facility with sweeping views of the Sonoran Desert.
