Team Troon On Tour: Noren At Wyndham, Team Troon Gears Up For Playoffs

Results From Last Week
Alex Noren was the only Team Troon player in play last week at the Wyndham Championship at Sedgefield CC (Fun facts: Prior to a sale to the current owners, Sedgefield CC was managed by OB Sports…Wyndham Championship Tournament Director Mark Brazil and OB Sports’ President, CA Roberts have ties going back to their AJGA Days). At the Wyndham, Alex Noren played consistently, finishing with every round under par and ended up T60 at -7 (the first time winner JT Poston finished at -22). Unfortunately, Alex needed to finish a bit higher to crack the Top 125 and get into the Fed Ex Cup Playoffs (he narrowly missed, finishing at 129).

Coming Up Next Week
Four PGA TOUR Team Troon players kick off the Fed Ex Cup Playoffs at the Northern Trust (where the Top 125 will tee off in the first event of the “playoffs” at Liberty National). Three of which finished the Fed Ex Cup Standings in the Top 10 and all four were in the Top 20! The Top 70 Advance to the next event (BMW in Chicago where we have some fun activation planned with Gary Woodland and our new Chicago Troon Office). Final Fed Ex standings were as follows:

#3 Matt Kuchar
#5 Gary Woodland
#6 Patrick Cantlay
#17 Justin Thomas

Following a busy week with Team Troon Social, we had another two solid social campaigns hit last week: from Justin Thomas and related to Matt Fitzpatrick. We had a great social mention by Justin Thomas. Justin tweeted a congrats to all Troon facilities on a great Troon Family Golf Month…and plugged our ongoing, year round program offering Troon Family Golf and kids play free benefit. The tweet is below (Be sure to RT from your handles!)

Additionally, Matt Fitzpatrick was captured on Twitter walking down the streets of Manhattan carrying his Troon Bag! Matt did a RT our Troon Tweet to his 70K+ followers. That tweet is below…and the Video.
