First off, thanks to all participants and especially Kim with her insights to what clubs, golf pro's and the golf industry should be getting out of social media and digital marketing in general. It was brought out by Kim, Michael, Bill and Jared that each social media platform had its own specific usage and would like to bring up one pertinent point - yes each platform has its strengths and weaknesses but was any one of them 'golf specific' and purely for the golf industry, or was it a case of using a social media platform that each was comfortable with? There is now a platform / network 'just for golf' called Clubface-Golf where communication, information sharing and building brands comes together and can then still be shared to all the other significant platforms from this platform via a quick share feature. Would this not help golfers, golf clubs, golf businesses and also golf management companies 'reach; their prospective clients or members? Worth a look at....!!!
