McCall's New Payette Lake Resort To Deliver Five-Star Amenities

Scottsdale, Arizona - Troon Golf, the recognized world leader in upscale golf club management, development, and marketing, will soon offer its renowned club services in McCall, Idaho through an agreement with Shore Lodge, LLC to oversee resort operations for the Whitetail Club, scheduled to open in June 2002.

Located along the scenic shores of Payette Lake, 100 miles north of Boise, Whitetail," a club for all seasons" will offer its guests a five-star experience in a natural, intimate rural setting. The Lodge offers 77 stunningly appointed guestrooms, most with lake views. Troon Golf will provide its equally luxurious golf experiences and guest services on the golf course designed by Roger Packard and two-time U.S. Open champion Andy North. The Whitetail golf course will serve a private membership, as well as registered resort guests.

"Our objective at Whitetail is to present a truly world-class resort and private club for all seasons that blends the highest level of services and amenities with outdoor adventure. Choosing Troon Golf assures Whitetail guests and members a premier experience," said Randy Perkins owner of the prestigious facility.

Whitetail will operate year round, offering an energetic slate of activities and amenities appropriate to each season. In addition to golf from late May through October, the resort will provide an array of outdoor activities that include fishing, boating, hiking, hunting, and biking, and cross country skiing in the winter.

Built to resemble hand-hewn log construction, the club offers a 13,000 square feet members pavilion with elegant meeting space in relaxed comfort - a true alternative to convention-oriented hotels in urban areas. In addition, the resort's exclusive facilities include an 8 bedroom estate home ideally positioned for executive retreats and two spacious log cabins in the nearby forest.

Unique to Whitetail, club members will also have the additional benefit of the use of a luxury chalet accommodating up to 14 guests at the foot of Baldy Mountain in Sun Valley Idaho and a 10,000 sq foot luxury villa in the exclusive Palmilla resort in Los Cabos, Mexico.

"We are excited to meld our unique brand of services with the elegant, yet rustic, atmosphere surrounding Whitetail," stated Troon Golf President and Chief Operating Officer, Hud Hinton. "We are proud to play a part in bringing a new level of awareness to this beautiful area of Idaho and to helping create what we believe will be one of the country's premier new clubs."
