From the Desk of Dana Garmany: Celebrating 25 Years!

This letter originally appeared in the Special Anniversary Issues of Troon Golf & Travel Magazine.

As we celebrate the 25th Anniversary of Troon, we are thrilled to bring you this special edition of Troon Golf & Travel to commemorate the occasion!

From this issue you'll gain insight into some of the early days of Troon during the opening our first golf course in 1990 - Troon North Golf Club in Arizona. You'll hear from Jeff Spangler, Scott Heideman, and Ron Despain, who were among those who strongly influenced Troon during those times and who are still with the company and shaping our culture today. We also share how adapting to change has been a key to our company's success in an industry that is constantly shifting.

From our beginnings at Troon North 25 years ago, our portfolio has expanded to more than 250 courses. We are proud to have grown to become the world's largest upscale golf management company, with highly acclaimed daily-fee and resort properties making up our Troon Golf division and distinguished private clubs in our Troon Privé division. And with our acquisition of Honours Golf late last year, we are pleased to welcome that brand into the Troon family with 16 courses located across the Southeastern United States.

As we take a moment to look back and appreciate the success of our first 25 years, we also look forward to the exciting years ahead as we continue to expand the Troon Golf Experience at even more locations across the globe. Thank you for your support.

Sincerely,

Dana Garmany, Chairman and CEO, Troon

I know Troon Golf has opportunities to look at different properties across the world. This particular property is owned by our company, 3M, called Tartan Park. It has 27 holes of golf, sitting in a beautiful piece of land, etc. due to need for some infrastructure needs 3M is decided to sell or close the facility by years end due the fact it is not in our core. Many current and retired 3M employees enjoy these facilities, would hate to see it go to waste. I have had the opportunity to play many Troon Golf facilities in the US, recently right here in MN at Giants Ridge. Tartan Park facilities are on par with these courses. All I am asking is for Troon Golf to explore the possibility of taking on this course into your fold. I would be happy to point your teams to the appropriate people in 3M if interested.Again thank you for considering.Regards,Tim Golden 3M ASD National Sales Manager
