CH3PGA At The Els Club Dubai Introduces over 170 Ladies To Golf In 8 Months

The biggest objective for CH3PGA Teaching Professional, Amy Millward was to get more ladies experiencing and playing golf in the Middle East.

From the outset of joining the CH3 Team in September 2019, Amy’s goal has been to develop and grow the ladies program while also retaining ladies within the sport. The Love.Golf ladies program has 4 different levels to suit all golfers, making it suitable for your total beginner to regular golfer, and allowing golfers to progress at their own speed and ability.

Being partnered with Love.Golf has taken the way Amy teaches to a different level but also offered a different insight into the game for many of our female golfers.

COVID-19, to a certain extent, has had a positive impact on golf and coaching across Dubai especially at the Claude Harmon III Performance Golf Academy based at The Els Club with it being a social distanced sport, good health benefits, and one of few sports allowed to go ahead after lockdown, which has encouraged more people especially ladies to get involved.

Despite some of the difficulties that COVID-19 has presented, the CH3 Ladies program has gone from strength to strength and introduced almost 180 new ladies to the game of golf in the last 18 months. This has been greatly helped through its association with local ladies group “Chicks with sticks” who have enabled ladies throughout Dubai the opportunity to learn and play the game in a fun and friendly environment.
