Q: When you were young, what did you want to be when you grew up?
A: I wanted to be a teacher.
Q: What/who got you into the game or business of golf and what do you like most about it?
A: My father was a golfer. Saturday was range day and Sunday was always golf. When you’re a teenager, it was a struggle to get up at 6AM to play golf?!?! Now, I just love the atmosphere, the love for the game.
Q: How long have you been with Troon and what has been your career progression thus far?
A: I started working at Stonetree in 2017 and been here for six years.
Q: Who was your most impactful mentor as you progressed in your career?
A: My parents: My mom would always tell me to be a useful person. They taught me about hard work and dedication.
Q: What do you do in your daily job or life to inspire other women or minorities to get them interested in the game of golf or into the golf business as a career?
A: I try to encourage everyone to not necessarily worry about score but more about getting a group of ladies together – just have fun and enjoy the game of golf.
Q: What is your dream foursome for golf?
A: Payne Stewart, Annika Sorenstam and Arnold Palmer
Q: What is one interesting fact not many people know about you (that you don’t mind sharing)
A: I like to practice with my compound bow.
