Q: What is one or two interesting facts about your heritage that you would like to share with us?

A: One of the things that I would say is family – because it is the core of the Latin culture. The second thing would be the language – it is our responsibility to pass our culture to the future generations. Our history is so valuable.

Q: Who did you look up to growing up and why?

A: Without question, my father. He was a great man: humble, honest and he taught me the values and principles to pass on to my children and others.

Q: How long have you worked for Troon and what do you love most about your job?

A: I started working for Troon when they came to The Standard Club in 2018. What I most love about my job is being able to serve others: club members, teammates and even our suppliers. I simply love working with others.

Q: What do you do in your daily job or life to inspire other minorities to get them interested in the game of golf or come work in the golf or resort industries.

A: I like sharing with others the impact that this industry has had in so many ways. The club offers so many opportunities and in various departments – both in guest service and in technical skills. The learning opportunities are endless in our daily activity.

Q:Who would be your dream dinner foursome (you and three others)?

A: I would love to have dinner with Barack Obama, Neil Armstrong and Pele’.
