The Troon Diversity and Inclusion Council’s mission is to create and implement actionable plans that support an inclusive culture and an environment that ensures people from all backgrounds have equal opportunities to succeed and grow at Troon. As a Company, Troon intends to recognize and celebrate diverse experiences, cultures and perspectives, which in turn will help the Company serve its associates, owners and members/guests. Troon desires an environment in which all associates feel valued, included, and empowered to do their best work and bring their whole selves to work every day.
Participation on the Diversity and Inclusion Council will involve a meaningful time commitment. The Council will include a core of fifteen members organized into three task forces that reflect its current priorities and initiatives: (1) Talent Acquisition, (2) Culture and Inclusion, and (3) Communications.
In addition to the Council, each region, as defined by our office locations, will have a formally designated Diversity and Inclusion Ambassador to assist the Council to further its reach and accelerate deployment of Council initiatives throughout the Company. These ambassadors will also serve as sounding boards, gathering and providing feedback from associates in their region.
Diversity and Inclusion Council members will serve a two-year term, and either party may end the associate’s participation on the Council at any time. Participation on the Council is strictly voluntary and not eligible for any additional compensation or incentive.

Once the application period is closed, candidates who most closely match the preferred experience and/or requirements listed above are invited to an interview process to select the initial fifteen Council representatives. The goal is to have the Diversity and Inclusion Council selected and in place by January, 2021.
