Finigan Tilly Runs Away with Inaugural Grapevine Amateur

Finigan Tilly of San Carlos, California, ran away with the inaugural Grapevine Amateur at Silverado Resort and Spa in Napa in Napa Valley, CA with a final round 70 (-2) to finish at 7-under par 209, 11 shots clear of Clay Seeber of Newport Beach. Tilly, who is a junior on the Cal golf team, led wire-to-wire as Silverado played very tough for the competitors at the Grapevine Amateur. Tilly not only led after each round, he shot the low round of each day amongst the competitors.

The tournament has been set up identical to the PGA Tour’s Safeway Open with similar hole locations and tee placements. The Grapevine Amateur is a world-ranked amateur event and the first stop in the 2020-21 Troon Saguaro Amateur Series. Travis Mathew is the lead sponsor and Silverado is playing host in our inaugural year. For more information on the Troon Saguaro Amateur Series, please go to www.SaguaroAmateur.com.
