Senior Vice President, Finance and Managed Properties
Gary Spivey serves as Senior Vice President of Finance – Managed Properties and CFO of Honours Golf.
Spivey has served as chief financial officer of Honours Golf since 1999 managing all accounting, financial reporting, human resources and management information systems for the company and its portfolio of resort, daily fee, and private clubs. Prior to joining Honours, he served six years as director of finance and administration for the real estate division of Drummond Company, Inc. based in Birmingham, Alabama. At Drummond, he participated in the management of a portfolio of master-planned golf communities consisting of residential, commercial and country club properties. These clubs included Rancho La Quinta Country Club in La Quinta, California, Old Overton Club in Birmingham, Alabama and Grasslands Golf & Country Club in Lakeland, Florida. Spivey was instrumental in hosting the 1996, 1997 and 1998 Skins games held at Rancho La Quinta. He also served on the financial committees of the 1984 and 1990 PGA Championships held at Shoal Creek Club in Birmingham. Prior to joining Drummond, Spivey served ten years as audit manager for Arthur Andersen & Co. Spivey is a CPA and a graduate of The University of Alabama with a bachelor of science in accounting.
