*The Good Good Shootout is for amateurs only. All PGA Members and PGA Associates, LPGA members or other golf professionals are not eligible to participate*

To secure your team’s spot at the GOOD GOOD SHOOTOUT at TPC Sawgrass presented by Callaway, a designated team captain must register the team and pay in full. Cancellation/Refund policies are outlined at the bottom of this page. A full team with each individual paid in full is due within 30 days from the Captain’s registration, but in any event, not later than August 10, 2023. If full payment is not timely received, then your team’s spot may be forfeited and given to another team.

After the team captain has paid and secured the team, they will be automatically emailed. It is the responsibility of this individual to forward the email to the other team member. Both individuals will need to fill out this form to properly reserve the team. This form will allow each individual to inform + pay for their chosen accommodations.

*King Villa Suites include a living room space + kitchen. These will have the choice to conjoin with separate Single (King) or Double (Queen-Queen) reservations.

**Guests will not be allowed to walk or ride along on the golf courses. Guests will receive all food & beverage benefits that players get. (guest fee does not include golf, merchandise spend, welcome packages, prizes, etc.). All guests must be 21+ in age to join.

Tournament Format at Good Good Shootout at TPC Sawgrass

2-PERSON BEST BALL, NET & GROSS

  • Two person teams. 2023 field limited to 50 teams
  • Two (2) rounds of tournament golf. Monday on Dye’s Valley & Tuesday on THE PLAYERS stadium
  • 36 hole tournament. Flighted based on combined team handicap
  • First Place & Second Place (Net & Gross) from each flight will be awarded a trophy & prize valued up to $600 for first and $400 for second
  • All Teams are eligible to compete in both divisions. Each team participant must provide a valid USGA GHIN handicap to compete in the Net Division
  • Please note that the Good Good Shootout at TPC Sawgrass is for amateurs only. All PGA Members and PGA Associates, LPGA members or other golf professionals are not eligible to participate
  • Amateurs will receive 85% of their course handicap with a maximum of 36 allowed for men and ladies. We will be using each amateur’s most current index prior to the event start

TIES: Broken by the lowest score on the back nine on the final day. If still tied, last 6 holes, then last 3 holes, then 18th hole backwards until a tie is broken.

Top 2 teams in Net & Gross, from each flight, will win trophies & prizes.

Tournament awards will be presented at Tuesday Night’s Awards Banquet.

OPTIONAL COMPETITIONS

On-Course: There will be optional daily hole-in-one competitions available.

Skins: Each player will have the option to buy-in on the daily skins game. Winners paid daily. (buy-in amounts to be announced at a later date)

Our event policy for all players is designed for maximum enjoyment and equality in competition.

Troon Events Senior play policy is 55 years & older. Date of birth is to-the-day of tournament start.

TOURNAMENT PLAY WILL BE FROM THE FOLLOWING:

THE PLAYER’S Stadium

  • Male Amateurs: 6,396 yards – Blue/White Tees
  • Male Senior Amateurs: 6,086 yards – White Tees
  • Lady Amateurs: 5,019 yards – Green Tees

Dye’s Valley

  • Male Amateurs: 6,502 yards – Blue Tees
  • Male Senior Amateurs: 6,272 yards – Blue/White Tees
  • Lady Amateurs: 5,126 yards – Green Tees

*TEAM POLICY*

A full team (of 2 players) with each individual must be paid in full within thirty (30) days from the group’s registration but in any event, not later than August 10, 2023. If full payment is not timely received, then your team’s spot may be forfeited and given to another team.

*PLAYER POLICY*

  • A full refund is available for a cancellation occurring within seven (7) days of registration payment, provided, however, that no refunds are available on cancellations occurring less than 30 days prior to the tournament start date (August 25, 2023).
  • A 50% refund is available for a cancellation occurring within 8-12 days of registration payment, provided, however, that no refunds are available for cancellations occurring less than 30 days prior to the tournament start date (August 25, 2023).
  • The registration payment is non-refundable after 12 days of purchase.
  • Any add-on payments made are fully refundable up until 14 days prior to tournament start date (September 10, 2023) and are non-refundable thereafter. Name changes are allowed at any time prior to the tournament start date.
  • Full refunds may be offered, regardless of timing, in the event the purchaser finds an alternate participant to take their place and such alternate remits payment in full.
