Partnerships In Our Communities
Troon’s facilities and associates take an active role in partnering with their local charities to raise funds, increase awareness, and mobilize associates to volunteer. These efforts play an important role in helping to cultivate healthier communities that benefit the lives of those who live there.
Current Projects
- Each fall, Troon-managed facilities in Arizona host "Troon's Drive for Phoenix Children's Hospital" program, which has raised more than $280,000 for the hospital since 2011. All the proceeds from the program are donated to Phoenix Children's Hospital during its annual golf fundraiser held at Troon North Golf Club.
- Patriot Golf Day – Since the program was first launched Troon has pledged support by coordinating efforts with its facilities to maximize the money raised, which provides scholarships to families of those who have become disabled or lost their lives in the line of military duty.
- Holiday Charity Sale – All proceeds from this annual event benefit Childhelp Children's Center of Arizona and the Arizona Animal Welfare League.
- Necessities Drive – During the holidays, Troon associates donate much needed necessities to the Child Crisis Center in Mesa, Ariz.
Facilities and Associates in Action
Whirlwind Golf Club in Chandler, Ariz. recently hosted a 5k run through its golf course, giving participants the unique opportunity to participate in an organized run that benefited Phoenix Children's Hospital.
Reunion Golf and Country Club in Madison, Miss. partners with Friends of Children’s Hospital for the annual Trustmark Children’s Hospital Pro-Am golf tournament. More than 300 amateur golfers and 60 area golf professionals play in the event which raises nearly $100,000 for the Children’s Hospital.
