Created from beautiful Texas ranch land, Cimarron Hills Golf & Country Club opened January 1, 2003. The golf course has matured into what it is today with wonderful developed oak trees as well as the south fork of the San Gabriel River running through the property and artifacts left over from the original ranch.
The objective of the course was to preserve the natural beauty of the property and create a product that is unmatched in central Texas while at the same time allowing players of all abilities to enjoy the course with five sets of tees. The 7,302-yard, award-winning Jack Nicklaus Signature Golf Course rewards thoughtful and strategic play, rather than simple brute force.
“Never try to force an idea onto a piece of land.” Those were Jack’s exact words. And that’s why so many golfers today are able to enjoy a course that ebbs and flows through stately oak trees, mountain laurels, creeks and rolling terrain. A course that Jack describes today as “the finest, purest experience of golf in all the Hill Country ? perhaps in all of Texas.”
The 18th fairway stretches out before you as you pass through the Cimarron Hills’ grand entrance. Nestled among the oaks, adjacent to the putting green, is a magnificent 45,000-square-foot clubhouse and spa facility. It’s one thing to spend an afternoon on a great golf course. It’s quite another to live near one. A private club membership at Cimarron Hills gives you access to all of the award-winning community amenities, which include golf, dining, swimming, fitness, tennis and a full-service spa.
