Juan Manuel Fuentes Perez – General Manager
Hailing from Spain, Juan brings with him a wealth of experience in the golf and hospitality industries, making him the perfect fit to lead and elevate the Royal Golf Club to new heights.
Juan’s illustrious career in golf and hospitality spans over several years. During this time, he held multiple leadership positions across Europe and Asia most recently at the La Hacienda Golf Resort in the South of Spain. His outstanding achievements in managing resorts and golf clubs and delivering exceptional hospitality services have earned him a sterling reputation within the industry.
Jamie Faulkner – Director of Agronomy
Jamie has a wealth of knowledge and 19 years of experience in golf and landscape management. His professional journey has taken him across continents, working in countries such as the United Kingdom, Australia, the United States of America, India, Saudi Arabia and Bahrain. This exposure has allowed him to develop an extensive understanding of diverse golfing environments and landscapes.
He has successfully coordinated teams for prestigious tournaments such as the Asian Tour, European Tour, PGA Tour, MENA Tour, PGTI, and Australian PGA Tour Tournament. His ability to foster teamwork and create a positive work culture has earned him recognition and praise within the industry.
Mariano Ochoa – Head Golf Professional
Mariano, a highly acclaimed golf professional, has joined the team at The Royal Golf Club as the Head Coach. With a stellar background in the sport and a true passion for coaching, having coached professionals competing in the Ladies European Tour, as well as top amateur juniors, Mariano is set to bring his expertise and dedication to the club’s aspiring golfers.
Hailing from the picturesque city of Cadiz, Spain, Mariano’s journey in golf began at a young age. Introduced to the sport by his grandparents, he started playing at La Canada when he was just 14 years old. Mariano’s unwavering dedication and talent led him to turn professional at the age of 20, setting the stage for a remarkable career in the golfing world.
Albert Sanchez – Golf Coach
Albert hails from the vibrant city of Barcelona, Spain, and has made headlines in the world of golf. His golf journey began at an age of 3 when he first picked up a golf club at Golf Saint Joan, a renowned public golf course in Barcelona.
Albert gained extensive experience through various international competitions, representing Spanish teams. His time there was marked by successfully managing the high-performance center, utilizing cutting-edge technologies such as TrackMan, SamPuttLab, and GASP systems. Albert believes in sharing his wealth of knowledge and expertise in teaching the sport. His vision is to make the learning process easy and dynamic for all the aspiring golfers.
