OCEAN COURSE
The Els Club Desaru Coast – Ocean Course is a 17km beachfront integrated destination on the west coast of Johor that features an array of luxury resorts, hotels and golf residences, complemented with differentiated leisure and entertainment offerings to including two signature golf courses, retail mall and theme parks. All of these amenities are easily accessible within just a short drive from the Senai International Airport, Johor Bahru or a 25-minute ferry ride from Changi Airport, Singapore. The Els Club Desaru Coast – Ocean Course has three distinct nine-hole loops aptly named the Lake, Coast and Ridge for members and guests to enjoy. Encompassing three unique environments the golf course meanders through natural wetlands and lakes as it makes its way thru the spectacular natural rolling terrain set alongside the South China Sea. The Lakes Course ranges from 2,607 to 3,655 yards, the Ridge Course ranges from 2,834 to 3,643 yards and the Coast Course ranges from 2,612 to 3,624 yards. In addition to the 27-hole championship layout, Els Club Desaru Coast will also be home to the Els Residences, the Els Performance Academy as well as Ernie’s Signature Restaurant the Big Easy Wine Bar and Grill and a second Course, The Valley, co-designed by Ernie Els and Vijay Singh.
VALLEY COURSE
Els Club Desaru Coast – Valley Course has dramatic change in elevation providing for a breath taking par 72 7,200-yard golf course. Designed by Vijay Singh and jointly developed with Ernie Els Design, Els Club Desaru Coast – Valley Course provides a terrific compliment to Els Club Desaru Coast – Ocean Course providing all skills levels a variety of shots throughout their round as they traverse the rolling landscape and natural streams of Desaru Valley. The 25,000 square foot clubhouse is an open plaza concept consisting of a central plaza. Complete with golf shop, locker rooms, casual dining restaurant and meeting space for up 120 people.
