Q: When you were young, what did you want to be when you grew up?
A: When I was young, I wanted to be a professional golfer, playing on the LPGA Tour.
Q: What/who got you into the game of golf?
A: My parents and grandparents introduced me to the game of golf. I started playing golf at age 9, played four years at UC Davis and turned professional in the summer of 2017.
Q: Who did you look up to either when you were younger or as you progressed in your career?
A: I have always looked up to my Coach, Noah Montgomery. In the past 13 years, he has taken my golf game to the very peak of my career. I would not have achieved any of my accolades without his coaching and support.
Q: How long have you worked for Indigo/Troon and what has been your career progression?
A: I have worked at The Ridge Golf Course in Auburn, CA for a little more than a year now as a Golf Shop Assistant and I was given the responsibility of being the onsite employee for The Ridge’s social media platforms as well as the website.
Q: What do you do in your daily job or life to inspire other minorities to get them interested in the game of golf or into the golf business as a career?
A: I do my best to always lead by example. I work hard every single day and am always working to better myself and provide the best environment to thrive and grow in the workplace. I think it is important to show everyone that with hard work and dedication, anything is possible.

A: Hanna Montgomery, Anika Varma and Annika Sorenstam
Q: What is one interesting fact not many people know about you?
A: Most people don’t know how much I love photography!
