PIKULTHONG AND WALKER WIN SAGUARO TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP
MARICOPA, Arizona—Anawin Pikulthong and Johnny Walker, both of nearby Chandler, shot better-ball rounds of 65 and 66 to win the 2020 Saguaro Team Championship at Ak-Chin Southern Dunes. The local pair was four shots clear of two teams tied for 2nd place (-9)-the teams of Tyler Severin/Bryce Waters and Mason Domecq/Mason Nam. In true team fashion, Pikulthong led the team during Tuesday’s first round and Walker led the way today. The 2015 Saguaro Team Champions-Chris Headen and Mike Samp, both of Dallas, Texas, played this week finishing in 13th place.
