28 TROON-AFFILIATED FACILITIES NAMED 2023 PLATINUM AWARD WINNERS BY AGM

Scottsdale, Ariz. (February 1, 2023) – 28 Troon-affiliated facilities were recently named 2023 Platinum Award recipients by the Association of Golf Merchandisers (AGM) recognizing premier golf shops across the world. The AGM Platinum Awards honor the “best of the best” public, private, resort and off-course specialty shops. Recipients of this prestigious award consistently demonstrate efficacious business practices in their retail operations. The program, a combination of the former 100 Best Golf Shops (Golf World Business) and the AGM Front Nine Awards, attracts entries from facilities worldwide.

In addition, two Troon-affiliated facilities were named “Best of the Best” among the AGM’s Platinum Award winners, including:

  • The Westin Kierland Golf Club in Scottsdale, Ariz.
  • Vattanac Golf Resort in Phnom Penh, Cambodia

All AGM award winners were recognized during the PGA Merchandise Show on Wednesday, January 25th in Orlando, Fla. To be considered for a Platinum Award, courses were invited to submit golf shop nominations. Entries were judged by an impartial panel in a number of categories, including customer satisfaction initiatives, creative use of space, inventory control practices, revenue-generating initiatives, promotions and visual displays.
