Partnership Elevates Service and Expertise at Signature Course

Scottsdale, Ariz. – Troon,® the leader in upscale golf course management, development and marketing is pleased to announce it has been selected by real estate development firm Koontz McCombs as the new management company for Newport Dunes at Palmilla Beach, its links-style Arnold Palmer Signature Course in Port Aransas, Texas. With the addition of Troon, Koontz McCombs is dedicated to the imminent improvements in the golf operation as well as expansion plans for the clubhouse.

A new pro shop and clubhouse are currently under construction, with expected completion by early fall 2013. The clubhouse will feature both indoor and outdoor dining options for 150 guests. There will be a three-story architectural element as part of the outdoor patio that will include a full-service bar and breathtaking views of the gulf and golf course.
