THE CLUB AT THE DUNES RECOGNIZED AS HAVING “TOP PATIO IN U.S.” BY CLUB + RESORT BUSINESS MAGAZINE
Naples, Florida (July 22, 2021) – The Club at the Dunes, part of The Dunes of Naples private residential community in Naples, Fla., has once again been honored by Club + Resort Business, this time for having the “Top Ranked Private Club and Resort Patio in the United States.” In June, The Club at the Dunes was recognized by Club + Resort Business as having one of the “Top Racquet Facilities in the U.S.,” and in April as having one of the “Top Fitness + Wellness Centers.”
Submitted entries for Club + Resort Business’ Top Patios ranking were judged independently by a panel comprised of club professionals from several of the industry’s most well-respected properties. The Club at the Dunes’ patio was ranked as the number one patio in the U.S, with a total of 41 clubs and resorts recognized. As the predominant feature of The Club at the Dunes, the patio areas define the property’s coastal casual lifestyle. Immediately upon entering the patio area, members are greeted with palm trees swaying in the coastal breeze, the sound of four crackling fire pits available for full food-and- beverage service, and waterfalls in the resort-style pool that is visible from all patio areas. Members who choose to sit outside and enjoy the Florida weather have five options to choose from: the covered terrace, poolside tiki patio, indoor/outdoor sandbar, tiki bar and fire pits. All covered areas have built-in heaters and fans. Two distinct kitchens operate to cover all patios and fulfill every need of each member and guest.
In 2019, The Dunes of Naples completed a $9.2 million Amenities Center renovation and expansion project. The new coastal-themed Amenities Center includes a new 25,000 square-foot clubhouse with the new Royal Palm Room restaurant; a new SandBar indoor/outdoor bar; and a flexible club room for events. In addition, the club’s new Tiki Bar is a popular poolside destination for residents and guests. As part of the renovation and expansion, the entire pool area was renovated and now includes fire pit tables and a lounge area in a new courtyard. The Club at the Dunes’ wellness and fitness center was also expanded, adding a group exercise room, two rooms dedicated to massages or physical therapy, a new tennis office and pro-shop and a new recreational game room equipped with pool table, ping pong tables and shuffle board.
