TROON GOLF 2000 MAKES JUNIOR GOLFERS HAPPY CAMPERS

SCOTTSDALE, AZ – Thanks to Troon Golf, the world leader in management, development, and marketing of luxury brand golf courses, youth from the City of Phoenix Parks and Recreation and the Desert Mashies were able to take part in the Troon Golf 2000 Junior Golf Camp. Conducted at Talking Stick Golf Club, these kids joined 25 other campers in three days of supervised golf instruction by the Troon Golf Institute teaching cadre and will enjoy three additional on-course play days at Troon Golf facilities in Scottsdale.

“For many of these youngsters, this golf camp was a rare experience that simply would not have been possible without the generous support from Troon Golf,” said John Robinson, Director of the Desert Mashies. “Interest in our junior golf programs increases tremendously when individuals and companies in the private sector reach out to our youth.”

“We are counting on these young golfers to keep the game alive for years to come,” said Scott Heideman, General Manager of Talking Stick Golf Club. “We certainly hope their ‘Troon Golf Experience’ introduces them to a lifelong association with golf.”

The junior golf camp also afforded Troon Golf, EZ Links, and General Electric the opportunity to collectively donate $5,000 to the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Central and Southern Arizona.
