TROON GOLF APPOINTS RUTH ENGLE AS EXECUTIVE VICE PRESIDENT, CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER
Scottsdale, Ariz. – Troon Golf,® the leader in upscale golf course management, development and marketing is pleased to announce the appointment of Ruth Engle as executive vice president, chief financial officer. Engle joins Troon Golf with an impressive resume having gained extensive experience in financial leadership at Honeywell International, where she previously served as vice president and controller of the aerospace division.
After earning a degree in mathematics at Lafayette College in Easton, Pa., Engle started her career as a staff auditor for PricewaterhouseCoopers. She then returned to her alma mater as an assistant professor teaching economics and business while earning her master’s degree in business administration from Fairleigh Dickinson University. Shortly after receiving her MBA, Engle co-authored a book titled: “Small Business Survival Guide to Debits, Credits and Cash: What Every Growing Business Needs to Know About Accounting and Finance.”

For more than 12 years, Engle has held several leadership positions at major global organizations. During Engle’s five accomplished years at Honeywell International, she worked in three leading divisions and gained skills in business acquisitions, divestitures, strategic positioning, project management, and financial system implementations – to name a few.
