TROON GOLF HIRES FORMER WESTERN GOLF PRESIDENT

Scottsdale, Ariz. – Troon Golf,® the world’s leader in luxury golf management, development and marketing, is pleased to announce the recent hiring of Hugh Edgmon, formerly the president and chief executive officer of Western Golf Properties, as an Area Managing Director. Edgmon’s industry expertise will be influential in continuing to position the company’s world-renowned product and services at properties within his designated region.

Edgmon’s impressive career in the golf industry spans 40 years. An active member in the PGA of America, he has held each office at the Section and Chapter level and was twice named the PGA South Central Section Professional of the Year. Edgmon served on the PGA of America National Board of Directors and co-chaired the U.S. Amateur Championship.
