TROON GOLF HIRES PAUL DELLANZO AS VICE PRESIDENT, EUROPEAN DIVISION

Scottsdale, Arizona – Troon Golf,® recognized as the world’s leading luxury brand golf management, development and marketing company, has hired Paul Dellanzo as Vice President of its newly formed European Division. Dellanzo will oversee Troon facilities and seek out new business opportunities throughout Europe, the Middle East and North African markets.

Troon Golf chose Dellanzo for his executive skills and accomplishments in the hotel and golf industries. He makes the move from his recent positions with Starwood Hotels and Resorts Worldwide and Pevero Golf Resort in Italy.

Dellanzo’s interesting and varied career path began in England, where he graduated in politics and law from Childwall Hall College. Turning to golf, Dellanzo earned Class-A credentials in the Canadian, British, and European PGA Associations and played on the Canadian and U.S. Mini Tours, capturing five professional championships.

Beginning with his 6-year tenure in the 1980s as Director of Golf for Whistler Golf Resort, British Columbia, Dellanzo’s career in club management includes positions at East Sussex National Golf Club, England; Loch Lomond Golf Club, Scotland; Doha Golf Club, Qatar, Persian Gulf; and most recently as General Manager for Pevero Golf Resort, Costa Smeralda, Italy, in association with Starwood Hotels and Resorts Worldwide.

Troon Golf’s European Division, which will be based in Milan, Italy, has been created to provide the resources necessary to expand the Troon Golf brand throughout Europe. The formation of this new division represents a continuation of Troon’s global strategy to introduce its renowned products and services to golfers worldwide. The Milan office will join Troon’s existing international offices in Brisbane and Tokyo.
