Scottsdale, Ariz. – Troon Golf,® the leader in upscale golf course management, development and marketing is pleased to announce that Matt Hurley has been promoted from area managing director to vice president of operations.
Hurley, an executive with Troon Golf since 1997, served as area managing director since 2005, leading Troon-managed facilities in Florida and Puerto Rico. Hurley’s leadership and commitment to Troon Golf have been highly regarded, earning him the company’s “General Manager of the Year” award in 2005 and the “Award of Excellence” honor in 2009.

In his new role, Hurley will remain based in Florida and will be responsible for overseeing the operational compliance of a portfolio of daily-fee, resort and private facilities located along the East Coast, Florida and the Caribbean.
