TROON GOLF SALES FORCE GEARS UP FOR 2000

Troon Golf, recognized as the world’s leading luxury golf management, development, and marketing company, continues to strengthen their position in the golf market by adding key personnel to tackle projected sales increases in 2000.

Hud Hinton, President and Chief Operating Officer, announced the appointment of Marquis Rust as Troon Golf’s new Director of Sales. Rust makes the move from a similar position with Grand Bay Hotels and Resorts where he was Director of Sales at Ventana Canyon Resort, Tucson, Arizona. Rust was born in Illinois and raised in Hawaii, and attended the University of Colorado at Boulder.

Formerly the Group Sales Manager for Troon North Golf Club, Cameron Ellis was named Group Sales Manager. Ellis, a native of Arizona, is a PGA golf professional and holds a degree in Marketing from Arizona State University. He has been employed by Troon Golf since 1996.

Leslie Chocheles was recently hired as Director of Sales for Maderas Golf Club, the newly developed Troon Golf property in the San Diego community. Chocheles’ role is to introduce Maderas to local area patrons and to the millions of San Diego visitors each year. Chocheles previously held management positions with American Golf and Cobblestone Golf Group, bringing with her over 18 years of valuable experience.
