TROON LAUNCHES “TROON’S TROOPS” FOR ACTIVE DUTY U.S. MILITARY PERSONNEL AND SEVERELY INJURED U.S. COMBAT VETERANS

Program Shows Appreciation by Extending Preferred Rates at U.S. Courses and Other Great Benefits

Scottsdale, Ariz. – Just in time for the holiday season, Troon,® is pleased to announce a new program to show its appreciation for the service of active duty U.S. military personnel and severely injured U.S. combat veterans by making golf more accessible and affordable. The “Troon’s Troops” program is now available year-round at more than 50 participating Troon Golf daily-fee and resort facilities.

Troon’s Troops offers active duty U.S. military personnel and severely injured U.S. combat veterans preferred Troon Card rates of up to 50 percent off standard golf fees, available two days in advance by calling participating Troon Golf courses directly. Valid military identification must be presented upon check in for active duty U.S. military personnel and severely injured U.S. combat veterans must present valid disability identification or a letter from the United States Department of Veterans Affairs indicating a disability rating of 70% or more.

Additional benefits for active duty U.S. military personnel and severely injured U.S. combat veterans include premium Callaway rental clubs for 50 percent off the standard price, 10 percent off merchandise at participating golf shops and 10 percent off at participating golf course restaurants.
