Seven Canyons Golf Course

Scottsdale, Ariz. (October 24, 2019) – Troon®, the leader in club management, development, and marketing, is pleased to announce it has been selected to manage Seven Canyons in Sedona, Ariz.. In July 2018, Troon and Seven Canyons partnered through a sales and marketing relationship. The new management agreement calls for Troon Privé (the private club operating division of Troon) to fully manage and have direct oversight of golf operations, food & beverage operations as well golf course agronomy and club/membership marketing.

Surrounded by the Coconino National Forest and the Red Rock-Secret Mountain Wilderness, Seven Canyons features an intimate 18-hole, par-70 course in awe-inspiring natural surroundings. The golf course, as its name suggests, winds its way through seven canyons, red rock monoliths, as well as ponderosa pines and alligator junipers. Designed by Tom Weiskopf, Seven Canyons is a shot-maker’s course, featuring tree-lined fairways, shifting elevations, and small greens with subtle contours.

“Troon and Seven Canyons have been successfully working together in a sales and marketing affiliation since the summer of 2018,” said Rob DeMore, president, Troon Privé. “We are thrilled to now be fully engaged in a more comprehensive fashion. By bringing private club operational efficiencies and proven best practices to the club, we look forward to further enhancing Seven Canyon’s position as the premier club experience in Sedona.”

Named one of the “Best Courses in Arizona” by MSN Sports and one of the “Top 10 Courses with Epic Views” by USA Today, the Seven Canyons experience goes well beyond the golf course. In addition to award-winning golf, members of Seven Canyons also enjoy inspired cuisine in the Clubhouse restaurant and bar, a state-of-the-art fitness facility, an outdoor pool, and a one-of-a-kind golf practice park set in its own secluded canyon. Additionally, Seven Canyons is a private, gated residential community featuring four distinct luxury real estate offerings ranging from townhomes and single-family residences to custom home sites and a private residence club.

“Troon is the perfect partner to help us move Seven Canyons to its next level of performance and member satisfaction,” said Dave Bisbee, general manager and director of golf, Seven Canyons. “The resources and partnerships Troon brings will help us in all aspects of our Club operations and are unmatched in the industry.”
