Rome Tennis Center at Berry College: Cliff Drysdale Tennis Adds Top Tier Georgia Facilities

Rome Tennis Center at Berry College

Cliff Drysdale Tennis, a Troon Company, has been selected to manage the tennis operations at Rome Tennis Center at Berry College. This tennis facility ex-pands over 30 acres with 57 courts comprising USTA standard asphalt courts, 6 NCAA regulation courts, 6 indoor courts, and 3 center courts for tournament and collegiate play.

The Rome Tennis Center at Berry College is located just 75 miles northwest of Atlanta. It was built in 2016 and has continued to receive new additions throughout the years, such as the completion of the 6-court indoor tennis facility in 2020.

Just this year, Top Spin Terrace—a viewing deck—was added to the indoor facility as well. With seating for just over 400, spectators can watch tournaments and events while also relishing in the beauty of the breathtaking landscape of rolling hills and trees that surround the tennis center.

The 3,966 square-foot, lodge-like clubhouse is a focal point of the facility. One key element of the clubhouse is the 2,656 square-foot tennis porch that overlooks “main event” courts and NCAA-regulation courts. Only upon visiting the site can one appreciate the spectacular, panoramic view that is afforded from the porch.

There are several programs offered at Rome Tennis Center at Berry College for adults of all skill levels and children of all ages. Festive themed events and fun, friendly, competitive clinics and sessions take place throughout the week. Verified UTR events are also hosted during the year.

This facility is open for public use seven days a week. It consists of 14 lighted USTA-standard tennis courts and 6 courts devoted to pickleball play. There is also a newly revamped clubhouse that overlooks the courts.
