Reunion Golf and Country Club’s golf staff, Blake Hatfield, Casey Smith, Tim Basel, and Hayden Austin, participated in the Folds of Honor ‘100 Holes of Golf’ fundraiser September 4, 2018, in honor of Patriot Golf Day®, an initiative of The PGA of America and the USGA. As a team, the group played 444 rounds from 8am until 3pm, with only a short lunch break provided by Team Reunion Golf and Country Club supporter, Firehouse Subs.

To date, the Reunion foursome has raised $8,834 for Folds of Honor, an organization that supports the legacies of fallen and disabled military service members through providing educational scholarships to children and spouses affected by war. As their total stands, which includes funds raised through the club’s Labor Day Trifecta, their efforts will help to pay for almost 2 full scholarships for deserving military families to carry on their education in challenging financial times.

In addition, fellow Honours Golf property, Highland Park Golf in Birmingham, AL has limited edition golf balls they are selling in which $5 of every purchase will be given back to the Folds of Honor Foundation.
