It’s Shark Week: Troon-managed courses designed by Greg Norman

In honor of Shark Week, we would be remiss if we let this week pass without highlighting some of the great Troon-managed courses that were designed by the Great White Shark in Greg Norman. As a player, Greg Norman earned more than $1 million five times on the PGA TOUR, including three Arnold Palmer Awards as the Tour’s leading money winner – 1986, ’89 and ’94. He was also the first person in Tour history to surpass $10 million in career earnings. But his crowning achievements are British Open Championships in 1986 and 1993. In total, Norman won 91 professional events around the world, including 20 on the PGA TOUR.

In addition to a great playing career, Greg Norman Golf Course Design has been involved in  over 100 courses opened across 34 countries and six continents, with many having won prestigious design awards. Within the Troon family, 10 courses at nine different facilities were designed by the Great White Shark. These clubs are managed by Troon Golf, Troon International or Troon Privé brands and range in locale from Egypt to Australia, to the United States of America:
